Works in every app
A global Ctrl+Win hotkey records while you hold it and pastes the text into the focused field when you let go.
Your provider, your key
Groq (Whisper large v3, with turbo as fallback), OpenAI or Deepgram Nova-3, connected with your own API key.
Cleaner text
A personal dictionary and filler-word cleanup run on the transcript before it is pasted.
Quiet while you talk
Other audio is ducked while you dictate. Tray, autostart and a history of the last thousand dictations.
Where your data goes, and what to expect.
This is not local transcription. Your audio goes over HTTPS to the speech provider you chose, with your own key.
RVGE never receives or stores your audio. The temporary recording is deleted after transcription.
Text is pasted through the clipboard.
What is still missing.
This list is the work between today's build and a version anyone can rely on. It gets shorter, it is never hidden.
- Licence, trial and checkout.
- A fresh installer from the current source, code-signed.
- An English interface. The application is in Croatian today.
- Encrypted storage for API keys. They sit in a local settings file today.
- Local transcription. It exists as an experiment and is not part of the product.
